# A cheap business line, or one that answers itself?

Google Voice gives each person on your team a business number in Gmail and on their phone, and Workspace plans add auto attendants and ring groups. Concierge answers your number with AI that looks up orders, changes subscriptions and brings in a teammate when it should. Every call answered, with the order in hand.

Self-serve software or help with setup and migration.

## Side by side

See exactly what you get with each one.

**Who each one is best for.** Choose Google Voice if your team already works in Google Workspace and wants an inexpensive line per person, with phone menus, ring groups and desk phones, where people answer every call themselves. Choose Concierge if you want every call and text answered on your store's number, day and night, by AI that can look up orders and change subscriptions, with a teammate a tap away.

**Checked October 18, 2026.** Google Voice Standard and Premier are added to a Google Workspace plan, billed separately. ## Common questions

### How much does Google Voice cost compared with Concierge?

Google Voice Starter is $10 per user a month for up to 10 users, Standard is $20 and Premier is $30, and Standard and Premier also need a Google Workspace plan, billed separately (checked October 18, 2026). Concierge Starter is $20/month with 20,000 credits and Pro is $199/month, with texts at 2¢ per message part and calls billed as you use them. Google Voice costs less for a line people answer themselves; Concierge pays for an agent that answers for you.

### Does Concierge have auto attendants, ring groups or desk phones like Google Voice?

No. Concierge has no phone menu, ring groups, call forwarding or desk phones. Callers just talk: Concierge answers, recognizes them, looks up their orders and handles the request. When a person should take over, your team is alerted on Finn for iPhone and in the browser, and a teammate taps Join the call. If you need menus that route calls to desk phones, Google Voice does that and Concierge doesn't.

### Can I keep my number when I move from Google Voice?

You can bring a US number to Chargezen. Chargezen checks that the number can move, you sign a letter of authorization in the admin and follow the transfer there. You can also start with a new toll-free number.
