### Can I get a toll-free or a local number?

Yes. You can get a toll-free number or a local US number in Chargezen. Numbers outside the US are not available yet.

### Can customers call and text the same number?

Yes. One number takes both calls and texts. Concierge answers each, and both show up in the same conversation history for that customer.

### Can I keep my current business number?

Yes. You can bring your number over from your current provider. Chargezen checks that the number can move, you sign a letter of authorization, and you follow the transfer in Chargezen. A toll-free number can start texting through Chargezen before the move finishes.

### What is carrier registration, and do I have to do it?

US carriers require businesses to register before texting customers: 10DLC registration for local numbers and toll-free verification for toll-free numbers. Unregistered texts are often blocked. Chargezen files the registration for you from the details you provide.

### Who answers when a customer calls?

You choose for each number: a digital employee answers every call, a teammate gets the first ring and Concierge picks up if nobody answers, or only teammates answer.

### How much does Concierge cost?

Concierge Starter is $20 a month with 20,000 credits. Pro is $199 a month with 199,000 credits, or $1,990 a year. Phone and text charges are billed as used, and you can connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic account.
