# Find out how much of your revenue comes from repeat buyers.

Ask how many customers ordered once, a few times or many times. Concierge sorts every known customer into tiers and shows the customers, orders and revenue in each, with totals that add up.

The problem

Most stores know their total sales but not who they come from. If a small group of frequent buyers brings in a big share of revenue, they deserve different treatment from one-time buyers. This playbook shows the split.

## What it reads.

### Your orders

Each order's customer and net total.

### Known customers only

Orders without a known customer are set aside and counted, so the tiers aren't padded.

### Net revenue

Revenue is the net order total. Orders with an unknown total are counted and left out of revenue.

### Your tiers

1, 2-3 and 4 or more orders by default, or the tiers you name.

## The steps it follows.

1. 1

    ### Prepare the data

Concierge prepares a private copy of your orders and opens it on its own computer.

2. 2

    ### Count each customer

Orders per known customer, leaving out cancelled orders unless you include them.

3. 3

    ### Sort into tiers

Customers, orders and net revenue in each tier, and each as a share of the total.

4. 4

    ### Check the totals

It prints proof that the tiers add up to all customers, orders and revenue.

## A worked example.

A made-up store, to show how the playbook works from question to answer.

The store

A skincare brand selling cleansers and refills, with two years of Shopify orders.

The question

"What share of last year's revenue came from customers who ordered more than once?"

What Concierge does

Prepares last year's orders, sets aside orders without a known customer and prints how many, leaves out cancelled orders, and counts orders per customer.

What comes back

Three rows (1 order, 2-3 orders, 4 or more), each with customers, orders, net revenue and their shares, and a final line showing the tiers add up to the year totals.

How to read it

Compare each tier's share of customers with its share of revenue. If the 4+ tier is a small share of customers but a large share of revenue, that's the group to look after with rewards or a subscription offer.

A good next question

"Split the 2-3 tier into 2 and 3 orders." Or ask which frequent buyers haven't ordered lately, with the RFM segments playbook.

This store is invented for illustration. It is not a Chargezen customer, and no results are shown: your answer depends on your own data.

## Run it, then make it yours.

You don't need to name the playbook. Concierge reads each playbook's "When to use" line and opens the one that fits your question.

In the Chargezen admin

Type your question in Ask Concierge, for example: "What share of last year's revenue came from customers who ordered more than once?" Concierge does the work and replies with the answer and any files.

In ChatGPT or Claude

Connect Chargezen to ChatGPT or Claude, then ask Concierge from the chat. The request goes to your workspace's own agent, with the same playbooks, and the reply comes back to the chat.

In the Finn app for iPhone

Type or dictate the question in the chat box on Home and send it to your agent. It's the same agent with the same playbooks.

Change the steps

Open Concierge > Build > Playbooks, pick Repeat purchase tiers and edit the instructions. Edits apply to new requests; work already under way keeps the version it started with.

Use your definitions

If you've saved a definition for a term the playbook uses, like what counts as an active customer, Concierge applies yours instead and prints it in the answer.

Choose who uses it

It starts switched on for your workspace's operator agents that can analyze store data. Switch it on for other agents under Agents, archive it, or click New Playbook to write your own.

## What you get back.

### A tier table

Customers, orders and net revenue in each tier.

### Shares of the total

Each tier as a share of customers, orders and revenue.

### A total check

Printed proof that the tiers add up, so nothing went missing.

## Common questions

### What does the Repeat purchase tiers playbook answer?

How many customers ordered once versus several times, and what share of customers, orders and revenue comes from repeat buyers.

### When should I use it?

When you are deciding how much to spend on winning new customers versus keeping current ones, or want a quick read on how loyal your customer base is.

### What about guest checkouts?

Orders without a known customer cannot be tied to a person, so they are set aside and the answer tells you how many there were.

### Do I have to name the playbook when I ask?

No. Concierge sees the title and "When to use" line of every published playbook switched on for the agent, and opens the full steps only when one fits your question. You can still say "use the Repeat purchase tiers playbook" to be sure.

### Can I change how it works?

Yes. It's your workspace's playbook: edit the steps, rename it, switch it on for other agents, archive it or delete it under Concierge > Build > Playbooks. A deleted default playbook stays deleted.

### How much does it cost?

Running a playbook is a Concierge job, so it uses your workspace credits like any other job when Concierge runs on Chargezen-managed AI models. Concierge Starter is $20 a month with 20,000 credits. Pro is $199 a month with 199,000 credits, or $1,990 a year.
