# Chargezen MCP server

Connect ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers to your Chargezen workspace. Your assistant can read your store's orders, subscriptions, customers, and reports, and hand real work to Concierge.

## Connect your assistant

1.  In your AI assistant, add a custom connector (remote MCP server) with the server URL above.
2.  Sign in to Chargezen when the assistant asks. New to Chargezen? Create an account on the same screen.
3.  Choose the workspace to connect and review what the assistant may do, then select Allow.
4.  Ask away. The assistant works in that workspace as you, with your permissions.

Teammates can see and disconnect every connected assistant in Chargezen under Concierge → Deploy → Channels → External MCP servers. Disconnecting stops access immediately.

*   Ask Concierge to do work, and get its reply. Concierge plans the work, asks you to approve consequential actions, and reports back.

The read tools return your workspace's saved data. Every change goes through Concierge, which asks you to approve consequential actions before taking them.

## Permissions

*   **Read workspace** (`workspace:read`): Read this workspace's orders, subscriptions, customers, products, reports, and knowledge.
*   **Ask Concierge** (`concierge:ask`): Ask Concierge, the workspace's AI agent, to do work in this workspace.

The assistant acts as the teammate who connected it. Chargezen checks that teammate's workspace access on every request, so removing a teammate also ends their assistant's access.

## Usage and credits

Reading data does not use credits. Work you ask Concierge to do uses your workspace's Chargezen credits when Concierge runs on Chargezen-managed AI models, the same as working with Concierge in Chargezen.
