## Affiliate Lifecycle

Every affiliate goes through a standard lifecycle in Spark!:

1.  **Application** — Affiliate submits application through your portal
2.  **Review** — Manual review or automatic approval based on rules
3.  **Onboarding** — Welcome email with portal access and getting started guide
4.  **Active** — Generating links, driving traffic, earning commissions
5.  **Payout** — Commissions paid on your configured schedule

## Affiliate Statuses

Affiliates can be in one of several statuses:

*   **Pending** — Awaiting approval (manual review enabled)
*   **Active** — Approved and able to earn commissions
*   **Paused** — Temporarily disabled (by you or the affiliate)
*   **Rejected** — Application denied with optional reason
*   **Churned** — Inactive for 90+ days (configurable)
