# Shipping Integration

Automatically fulfill product seeding orders

Spark! integrates with Shopify's fulfillment system to automatically create and ship seeding orders. No manual order entry required.

## Shopify Fulfillment

When a creator accepts a seeding invitation and provides their address:

1.  Spark! creates a draft order in Shopify with $0 total
2.  The order is tagged with "spark-seeding" for tracking
3.  Order flows through your normal fulfillment process
4.  Tracking number syncs back to Spark! automatically
5.  Creator receives shipping notification

##### Inventory Impact

Seeding orders reduce inventory like regular orders. Make sure to account for seeding volume in your inventory planning.

## Third-Party Fulfillment

If you use a 3PL, seeding orders work the same way:

*   **ShipBob** — Orders sync through Shopify integration
*   **ShipStation** — Tagged orders route to seeding rules
*   **Deliverr** — Fulfilled like regular orders
*   **Custom 3PL** — Works with any Shopify-connected fulfillment

## International Shipping

For international creators:

*   Customs declarations are generated automatically
*   Declared value set to product cost (configurable)
*   Mark as "gift" to reduce customs duties
*   Collect creator's phone number for international shipments

## Cost Management

Control seeding shipping costs:

*   **Shipping Method** — Default to standard or let creators choose
*   **Geographic Limits** — Limit seeding to specific countries
*   **Value Caps** — Maximum product value per creator
*   **Budget Tracking** — Monitor total seeding spend

##### Cost Reporting

Seeding costs (product + shipping) are tracked in analytics, letting you calculate true cost-per-content and ROI.
