Troubleshoot common Spark! problems

Solutions to the most common issues merchants encounter with Spark!. Can't find your issue here? Check the FAQ or contact support.

## Tracking Not Working

**Symptoms:** Clicks aren't being recorded, orders aren't attributing

**Solutions:**

*   Verify the Spark! pixel is installed (check for spark.chargezen.com requests)
*   Disable ad blockers and test again
*   Check if cookies are enabled in the browser
*   Ensure the tracking link format is correct
*   Run diagnostics in Settings → Installation

## Orders Not Attributing

**Symptoms:** Clicks are recorded but conversions aren't showing

**Solutions:**

*   Check cookie duration hasn't expired
*   Verify the customer completed checkout (not abandoned)
*   Check attribution model settings
*   Look for the order in "unattributed" list
*   Ensure no conflicting affiliate apps are installed

##### Attribution Delay

Order attribution can take up to 15 minutes to appear. If orders still aren't showing after 30 minutes, investigate further.

## Affiliate Can't Login

**Symptoms:** Affiliate sees error when trying to access portal

**Solutions:**

*   Check affiliate status (may be suspended or pending)
*   Reset their password
*   Verify email address is correct
*   Check if email verification is required but not completed
*   Clear browser cache and try again

## Commission Amount Wrong

**Symptoms:** Commission is different than expected

**Solutions:**

*   Check if product-specific commission rate applies
*   Verify affiliate's tier and tier commission rate
*   Check for discount code exclusions
*   Review order for partial refunds
*   Check commission calculation in order details

## Payout Failed

**Symptoms:** Payout shows as failed

**Solutions:**

*   Check affiliate's payment details are correct
*   For PayPal: verify email is correct and confirmed
*   For bank transfer: verify routing/account numbers
*   Check if affiliate is below minimum threshold
*   Review error message in payout details

## Duplicate Affiliates

**Symptoms:** Same person has multiple affiliate accounts

**Solutions:**

*   Merge accounts (Settings → Affiliates → Merge)
*   Deactivate duplicate accounts
*   Fraud Agent should flag these automatically
*   Review IP addresses and device fingerprints
