# Customize the portal

Make the subscription portal look and sound like your store: turn on the Subscriptions tab, choose the actions, frequency options and every label.

The portal lives in the Squircle Launcher, so you customize it with the launcher editor, with no code. You choose which tabs show, which subscription actions subscribers get and the exact words they read. Open **Concierge → Deploy → Launcher**, choose the **Squircle Launcher** card and then **Customize Squircle**.

## Set it up

#### Open the launcher settings

In the editor, open the gear for **Launcher settings**.

#### Turn on the Subscriptions tab

Under **Tabs**, turn on **Subscriptions** ("Manage upcoming subscription orders."). It's off to start. Its page header reads "My subscriptions" unless you change it.

#### Arrange the tabs

For each tab, set its **Label**, **Icon** and **Page title**, and where it sits: **Footer**, **Home shortcut** or **Profile shortcut**. Pick the **Default tab** the launcher opens on.

#### Choose subscription actions

Open the **Subscriptions** section ("Actions, item changes, frequencies and text") and turn actions on or off.

#### Rewrite the wording

Edit the text groups so every message sounds like your brand, then save.

#### Check the app embed

In your Shopify theme editor, the **Concierge Widget** app embed must be on, with **Launcher style** set to **Squircle**.

## Subscription actions

*   **Actions**: Skip next order, Order now, Reschedule next order, Edit billing frequency, Pause subscription, Restart subscription, Cancel subscription, Show payment method and Show order count. All are on to start except **Order now**, which charges the saved payment method and places the next order right away.
*   **Item changes**: **Change product** (customers choose from your swap products) and **Change item quantity**. These two settings also apply to the customer portal.
*   **Frequency options**: the choices subscribers see when they change frequency. Each has an **Option label**, **Every** and **Interval** (Day, Week, Month or Year).

Permissions still apply

An action shows only if it's also allowed in **Settings → Subscriptions → Self-Service Permissions**. See [Customer portal](https://chargezen.com/docs/subscriptions/portal).

## Wording and language

Every label, confirmation and message in the Subscriptions tab can be rewritten. The text groups are:

*   Overview
*   Empty
*   Error
*   Skip
*   Order now
*   Change product
*   Item quantity
*   Reschedule
*   Frequency
*   Pause
*   Cancel
*   Restart

The portal can also be shown in your subscribers' language, and you can edit any label to fit your voice.

## Troubleshooting

### The launcher doesn't show on my store

Turn on the **Concierge Widget** app embed in your Shopify theme editor and save the theme.

### The Subscriptions tab is missing

It's off to start. Turn it on under **Tabs** in the launcher settings and save.

### My new wording doesn't show

Save in the launcher editor, then reload your storefront.
