Digital employee

An autonomous AI agent that does a defined job for a business, such as customer support, operations or reporting, using real tools and data within the access it is given.

## What is Digital employee?

Unlike a chatbot, a digital employee takes action: it looks up records, changes orders, runs reports, uses websites and follows procedures. Good digital employees ask for approval before consequential actions and keep a record of what they did.
