Monthly subscription

Monthly subscription

Subscriptions

A subscription billed and usually delivered once a month.

What is Monthly subscription?

Monthly plans are the most common subscription cadence. They are easy to understand but give customers a renewal decision every month, which is why brands pair them with prepaid and annual options. Monthly is not always the right rhythm. If a product lasts five weeks, a monthly plan slowly piles up extra stock at the customer's home, and a pile of unused product is a common reason to cancel. Many brands offer a few frequencies (every 4, 6 or 8 weeks) and let subscribers change them anytime.

Example

For example, a coffee subscription at $18 a month brings in $216 over a year from a customer who stays for all 12 renewals. If that customer cancels after month 4, the brand earns $72.

Why Monthly subscription Matters

Monthly plans are the easiest way to start, but how long people stay on them decides how much they are worth.
