Influencer

A creator program is an ongoing, always-on program where a brand works with many creators on standing terms instead of one-off sponsored posts.

What is Creator program?

A creator program turns influencer marketing from a series of deals into a system. Creators apply or are invited, accept standard terms, get a tracked link and a code, and earn on the sales they drive for as long as they stay in the program. What a program usually includes: a signup or application page, a commission rate (often with tiers), gifting rules, a brief that explains what good content looks like, a portal where creators see their links, sales and payouts, and a regular payout schedule. Programs vs campaigns: a campaign has a start, an end and a brief. A program is the standing relationship campaigns run inside.

Example

A coffee brand invites 80 customers who post about it to a creator program: 15% commission on sales from their link, a free bag every quarter, and monthly payouts. Twelve of them become steady sellers within a few months.

Why Creator program Matters

Standing terms make it cheap to add the next creator, so a brand can grow from five partners to five hundred without negotiating each one.

Creator program FAQ

What is the difference between a creator program and an ambassador program?

Creator and ambassador programs overlap. Ambassador programs usually stress long-term loyalty and fewer, closer partners; creator programs often include anyone who makes content, paid by commission, a fee or both.

How do creators get paid in a creator program?

Creators in a program usually earn a commission on tracked sales, sometimes with free product or a flat fee per post. Payouts run on a set schedule, such as monthly.
