Gift subscription

Subscriptions

A subscription bought by one person for someone else, usually prepaid for a set number of deliveries.

What is Gift subscription?

The buyer pays and the recipient enjoys the deliveries, often managing them without entering payment details. When the gift ends, brands invite the recipient to keep subscribing. How it usually works: the buyer picks a length, such as 3 or 6 months, and pays upfront. The recipient gets a message, confirms their address and starts receiving orders. Near the end of the gift, they get an offer to continue on their own card. With Chargezen, recipients can redeem and manage a gift subscription without entering payment details.

Example

For example, a tea brand sells a 3-month gift for $75. The recipient enjoys three deliveries, then gets an offer to keep going at $25 a month. Every recipient who continues is a new subscriber the brand did not pay ads to reach.

Why Gift subscription Matters

Gift subscriptions reach new customers through your existing fans and can convert recipients into paying subscribers.
