One-time purchase

One-time purchase

E-commerce

A single purchase with a single payment and no ongoing commitment.

What is One-time purchase?

Most stores offer one-time and subscription options side by side. Converting one-time buyers into subscribers, at checkout or after purchase, is one of the biggest growth levers for subscription brands. Why offer both: some shoppers want to try a product before committing, and forcing a subscription can lose the sale. A clear one-time option lowers the barrier, and a good follow-up offer (on the product page, at checkout, after purchase or when the product is likely running out) can turn that buyer into a subscriber later. Chargezen supports subscription offers from the product page to the customer portal.

Example

For example, a shopper buys a bag of coffee once for $20. Three weeks later, a message offers the same bag every 4 weeks for $18. If they accept, a single $20 order becomes $234 a year across 13 deliveries.

Why One-time purchase Matters

One-time buyers are your best pool of future subscribers, because they have already tried the product.
