The short answer: Later Influence is an influencer platform sold with optional services, and every plan is "Request Pricing". Mavely, the creator affiliate app Later acquired, is now part of Later. Shopify brands look for alternatives when they want a published price, a self-serve tool, or commissions paid on tracked sales from their own program. Spark! is $199 a month for affiliates and creators together; GRIN, Aspire and Upfluence are other creator platforms; Shopify Collabs and UpPromote are lighter affiliate options.
What is Later Influence?
Later's platform page calls it "the influencer marketing platform behind better campaigns", with creator discovery, an incentive advisor that shows what creators are paid across channels, and reporting that combines paid, organic and sales results. It says it has analyzed more than 20 million creators to predict performance (checked October 19, 2026).
The Later Influence pricing page (checked October 19, 2026) lists three plans: Platform (self-serve, for running your own in-house program), Platform + Services, and Services (campaigns run by Later's team). All three say "Request Pricing", and the page says Later doesn't currently offer a free trial for Later Influence.
Where does Mavely fit?
Mavely is a creator-side affiliate app: creators use it to manage affiliate links and commissions across brands. Later's September 1, 2026 post, "Mavely is now Later", tells creators their links, commission structure and payout schedule carry over unchanged, with payments on the 1st and the 15th. Later's pricing page now links a "Later Creator" app for managing affiliate links.
That is a different model from running your own program. With a creator-side app, creators come from the app's community and promote many brands. With your own program, creators sign up with you, on your page, and your terms and partner list stay yours. Spark! is the second kind: it is not a network and has no creator marketplace.
Why do brands look for Later Influence alternatives?
- No published price: You can’t budget or compare until you’ve had a sales call.
- Services you may not need: If your team runs campaigns itself, a self-serve tool with a fixed price can be enough.
- Paying on sales: Brands that want to pay creators a commission on tracked orders want links, codes and payouts in the same place.
- Subscriptions: Subscription brands want partners paid on renewals, not just the first order.

Questions to ask in a Later sales call
- What does the Platform plan cost per year, and what is the minimum term?
- What is included in Platform versus Platform + Services?
- How are creators paid, how often, and who pays processing fees?
- Can creators earn commission on sales through their own links, and on subscription renewals?
- Which channels can I run ads from creator posts on?
- What happens to my creator list and content if I leave?
Write the answers next to each alternative's published price, so you compare like for like. If a vendor won't give a number before a demo, ask for a range and the minimum term.
Measuring on sales instead of reach
Many influencer platforms report reach and engagement. Those are useful, but a Shopify brand usually wants to know which creators sold, and what each sale cost. In Spark!, every creator has a tracking link, and Spark! credits the sale when the shopper arrives through the creator's link. You see orders, revenue and commission by creator, and refunds take their commission back. Work out the return with the influencer ROI calculator.
What you get with Spark!
- Creator search, outreach with follow-ups and a creator CRM.
- Campaign applications where creators name their rate, and briefs and approvals.
- Contracts, gift orders, flat fees and commissions, paid from one balance you fund.
- Commissions on subscription renewals.
- Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads from your creators’ posts.
Where Later may suit you better: if you want a team to run campaigns for you, or Later's social scheduling alongside influence. Spark! is $199 a month or $1,990 a year, with no fee on your partners' sales. See Spark! and pricing.
