Autonomous agent

Autonomous agent

AI

An AI agent that can complete tasks without step-by-step instructions, deciding what to do next based on the goal and what it observes.

What is Autonomous agent?

Autonomy is a range, not an on-off switch. At one end, an agent only suggests actions for a person to take. In the middle, it acts on routine tasks and asks before anything consequential. At the far end, it handles whole jobs on its own and reports back. Most businesses choose the middle. They let the agent handle routine work on its own, require approval for things like refunds or messages to many customers, and review an audit trail of what it did. Chargezen Concierge asks before consequential actions and lets you decide how much it can do on its own.

Example

For example, an agent might be allowed to answer order status questions and skip subscription orders on its own, but need a teammate's approval before issuing any refund over $50.

Why Autonomous agent Matters

The right level of autonomy saves the most time while keeping people in control of the decisions that matter.
