The best Lindy alternative for an online store depends on what you want the AI to do. If you want an assistant for each person's meetings and messages, Lindy is hard to beat; if you want an AI that answers your customers and acts on their orders and subscriptions, look at a store-focused agent such as Concierge, or a support agent such as Intercom Fin or Gorgias.
Lindy is one of the best-known AI assistants for work, and many store owners try it first. This guide covers what Lindy does well, how its pricing works, where a store tends to need something different, and five alternatives, each with an honest "pick this if" line. We checked every product fact and price on the vendor's own pages on October 19, 2026.

What does Lindy do well?
Lindy calls itself "the AI teammate" that plugs into your tools. Its pricing page lists meeting recording and notes on every plan, and its home page shows it working over iMessage as well as in your apps. Its home page FAQ says it is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant, and its Enterprise plan adds SSO, audit logs and HIPAA with a signed BAA (checked October 19, 2026).
For a founder drowning in meetings and messages, that is a strong set. It is personal help: it makes each person on your team faster at their own work.
How does Lindy pricing work?
- Free: $50 in credits, which last 7 days.
- Team: From $29.99 a month per active user for 3,000 credits each (larger credit tiers cost more), with credits pooled across the workspace. Lindy's page says every active user in your workspace is billed.
- Extra credits: $10 per 1,000 credits.
- Enterprise: Custom credits and billing, with SSO, audit logs and HIPAA with a signed BAA.
Source: Lindy pricing, checked October 19, 2026. The thing to notice is the per-user model: a team of five active users on the entry Team tier comes to $149.95 a month, or $1,799.40 a year at the monthly price. We compare per-seat, credit and per-resolution pricing in what an AI employee costs.
Where does an online store need more than Lindy?
- Your customers: Most of a store's repeat work comes from customers: where is my order, I want to return this, skip my next box. Lindy is built around your team's work, not a chat on your store or your support line.
- Store actions in the conversation: A support request is done when the order is looked up, the return opened or the subscription changed, while the customer is still there.
- Phone and texts: Many store customers call or text. An agent that answers your business number and texts covers part of the inbox a chat tool never sees.
- Cost as the team grows: Per-user pricing is fair for personal assistants. For a shared agent that does the store's work, you may prefer a price for the whole workspace.

1. Concierge: agents for your customers and your team
Concierge is Chargezen's set of digital employees for customer and team work. It answers customers on website chat, phone calls, texts, WhatsApp and email, with one memory of each customer. It tracks orders, cancels them when your rules allow, opens returns for a teammate to approve the refund, and pauses, skips or swaps subscriptions. Your team works with the same agents in Slack, Telegram, the browser and the Finn iPhone app, for reports, store questions and back-office jobs. You choose what each agent can do; what someone asks for runs, and its own ideas are offered first.
Pricing is per workspace, with no per-user fees: Starter is $20 a month with 20,000 credits, and Pro is $199 a month, or $1,990 a year, with 199,000 credits. Each product counts credits its own way, so compare the work you need done, not the credit numbers. Pick it if your store's busiest work is customer requests and you want your team on the same agents. Lindy leads on meeting recording and notes and iMessage, which Concierge doesn't do. See Concierge vs Lindy.
2. Viktor: an AI coworker priced per workspace
Viktor is an AI employee for your team in Slack and Microsoft Teams, with Discord and a web app too. It says it connects to 9,800+ tools. Its Team plan is $100 a month for 40,000 credits shared by the workspace, with no per-seat charge, and its own llms.txt says it is not a customer-facing support bot (checked October 19, 2026). Pick it if you like Lindy's team help but want a workspace price and a bigger tool catalog. See Concierge vs Viktor.
3. Intercom Fin: a customer-facing agent priced per outcome
Fin is a customer-facing AI agent that costs $0.99 per outcome. It runs in Intercom, and fin.ai says it also works with help desks such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot and Freshdesk (checked October 19, 2026). Pick it if what you really wanted from Lindy was customer support, and you already have a help desk. It doesn't do your team's back-office work. See Concierge vs Intercom.
4. Gorgias: a Shopify help desk with AI
Gorgias is a help desk built for Shopify, priced by ticket volume, with an AI Agent at $0.90 per automated interaction on an annual contract or $1.00 monthly. Voice and SMS are add-ons (checked October 19, 2026). Pick it if you have a support team that works tickets all day and wants AI to take the first pass. See Concierge vs Gorgias.
5. Zapier Agents: automations across thousands of apps
Zapier Agents lets you build AI teammates that use your company's knowledge and act across Zapier's 9,000+ apps. Its pricing page lists 400 agent activities a month on the free plan and 1,500 on Pro (checked October 19, 2026). Pick it if your work is mostly moving data between apps by rules, with a little judgment on top. You build and maintain each agent yourself.
What do Lindy alternatives cost for a team of five?
Take a store with five people who would use the AI. These are list prices from the vendors' pages on October 19, 2026, before taxes and add-ons. Credits and outcomes are counted differently by each vendor, so this compares the starting price, not the work each one gets done.
| Product | How it is billed | Five people for a year |
|---|---|---|
| Lindy Team (entry tier) | $29.99 per active user a month | $1,799.40 |
| Viktor Team | $100 a month per workspace | $1,200 |
| Concierge Starter | $20 a month per workspace | $240 |
| Concierge Pro | $1,990 a year per workspace | $1,990 |
| Intercom Fin | $0.99 per outcome | Depends on how many conversations it handles |
How to move from Lindy
- 1. List what Lindy does for you today: Split it into personal help (meetings, notes, messages) and store work (reports, customer follow-ups). Keep Lindy for the first if it works.
- 2. Write down your store's policies: Returns, shipping, subscriptions. A customer-facing agent needs them in writing.
- 3. Connect your store and channels: Shopify, Recharge if you use it, and the chat, email, phone and text channels customers use.
- 4. Set what waits for a person: Refunds and policy exceptions first. Loosen the rules as you see its work.
- 5. Move the team's recurring jobs: The morning sales report, the weekly review, the unshipped-orders check, run on a schedule.
Who should stay on Lindy?
If your AI's main job is helping you personally, with meetings, notes and messages, Lindy is a good tool and switching may not help. Many store owners will run a personal assistant like Lindy alongside a store agent like Concierge. Glossary: AI teammate, AI credits, digital employee, AI agent and AI copilot.
