Customer winback

Customer winback

Retention

Bringing former customers or subscribers back, usually with a personal offer and an easy way to restart.

What is Customer winback?

Win-back campaigns work best when they use what the customer bought and why they left, and when reactivation takes one click with no login. Timing and relevance matter. A subscriber who left because of price may respond to a discount. One who left because they had too much product may come back for a less frequent schedule. Someone who disliked a flavor may want a different one. Chargezen win-back campaigns send personal offers by email and text, and lapsed subscribers can come back in one click without a password.

Example

For example, a brand emails 1,000 former subscribers with an offer based on why each one left. If 50 restart at $30 a month, that is $1,500 in recovered monthly revenue from customers it did not have to find again.

Why Customer winback Matters

Former subscribers already know and trust your brand, so they are often cheaper to win back than new customers are to acquire.
