In short

Switching from Klaviyo to SmartyTap means moving three things and rebuilding the rest. Contacts come over by CSV import, your toll-free texting number moves with Bring your number, and Shopify customers and orders sync on their own; flows, templates, segments and forms are rebuilt in SmartyTap.

Everything you need to sell more.

Contacts by CSV

Export your lists and segments from Klaviyo and import them into SmartyTap from a CSV file.

Your texting number

Move your Klaviyo toll-free number with Bring your number, so customers keep texting the number they know.

Shopify sync

Customers and orders come in from Shopify, so segments and flows know what people bought.

Your sending domain

Authenticate your domain with DNS checks, then send on a warm-up ramp so a new sender lands in the inbox.

How it works.

  1. 1

    Export from Klaviyo

Export lists, segments and your suppression list, plus each SMS subscriber's phone number and consent timestamp.

  2. 2

    Import and connect

Import your contacts from CSV, leaving out people who unsubscribed, and connect Shopify.

  3. 3

    Start the number move

Start Bring your number in Chargezen. Keep your Klaviyo SMS plan until the number shows Moved.

  4. 4

    Rebuild and go live

Rebuild your flows, templates and forms, authenticate your domain and send your first campaign.

Set up once, then send.

The settings that keep your first SmartyTap sends on track.

Smart Sending

Skip anyone who got an email in the last 16 hours or a text in the last 24, so a busy week doesn't pile up messages.

Quiet hours

Texts wait until quiet hours end in each customer's own time zone.

Local-time sending

Pick any send time, and each contact gets the campaign at that time where they live.

Carrier registration

Register your sending number for 10DLC or toll-free texting from Chargezen.

Domain checks and warm-up

SmartyTap checks your sending domain's DNS records and ramps up volume for a new sending domain.

Tracked links

Add UTM tags to your links so sales show up in your analytics.

What moves, and what you rebuild.

Everything on one list, so nothing is left behind in Klaviyo.
