Remind shoppers about the product they almost bought.

When a known shopper views a product and leaves, SmartyTap waits, checks they still haven’t ordered, and sends one helpful email about that product.

What is a browse abandonment email?

A browse abandonment email reminds a shopper about a product they viewed but didn’t add to cart or buy. In SmartyTap it starts on the Viewed Product event from the Chargezen pixel, reaches only shoppers who are already contacts, and stops if they order.

What makes it work.

One product, one email

Keep it about the product they viewed. A catalog of suggestions reads like a newsletter.

Let the cart flow win

If they added to cart, your abandoned checkout flow is the better message.

Don’t chase

A 30-day re-entry period keeps regular visitors from feeling watched.

Let every order start the right email.

Flows, campaigns, forms and customer data in one app, on the same customer record as the rest of Chargezen.

Common questions

A browse abandonment email reminds a shopper about a product they viewed but didn’t buy. In SmartyTap it starts on the Viewed Product event from the Chargezen pixel and stops if the shopper orders.

Only shoppers SmartyTap already knows as contacts, with marketing email consent. Anonymous visitors never enter the flow.

Browse abandonment starts when someone views a product. Abandoned cart and checkout flows start when they add to cart or begin checkout, which shows stronger intent.

That is your re-entry setting. We suggest allowing re-entry only after 30 days.

SmartyTap Starter is $20 a month for 2,500 contacts and 25,000 emails. Pro is $199 a month, or $1,990 a year, for 25,000 contacts and 250,000 emails. Flows are included in both plans.
