Analytics dashboards
The 13 subscription dashboards in Chargezen, what each one measures, and how to change dates, comparisons and grouping or download the data.
Last updated: 2026-10-18
Dashboards show how your subscription business is doing over time: revenue, new and lost subscribers, renewals, failed payments and what's coming up. Open Subscriptions → Analytics → Dashboards, then pick a tab along the top.
Read a dashboard
Pick a tab
Start with Overview. Its Top Insight card shows the most important finding across your dashboards, and Explore More links to the detailed tabs.
Set the dates
Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days (the default), Last 90 days, Last 6 months, Last 12 months or Custom. Upcoming Orders looks forward, so its choices read Next 7 days and so on.
Compare and group
Use Compare to: (Previous period, Previous year or No comparison) and Display: (Daily, Weekly or Monthly).
Download
Choose the Export data icon to download the dashboard's data as a CSV file.

Find recovered revenue
Open the Order Errors tab. The Payment error recovery section shows Payment errors, Recovered revenue and the recovery rate. Each failed payment ends up as Recovered, Lost via passive churn (payment never went through), Lost via active churn (the customer cancelled), Stalled, In recovery or Exited recovery. Payment errors leave out inventory, Shopify and store setup failures, and amounts are before tax.
While Chargezen is still building a workspace's subscription history, a banner says so and the subscription, subscriber, cancellation and cohort figures stay hidden. They appear as soon as it finishes.
Troubleshooting
My numbers don't match the Shopify reports
Dashboards count subscription orders and charges recorded by Chargezen, in your shop currency. Check that you're comparing the same dates and the same kind of order (checkout, recurring or both). Order Errors warns you when some recovered orders use a different currency than the shop.
I need the list of customers behind a number
Use a report. Reports list the individual customers, contracts, orders and charges, and can be emailed as CSV.
How do I see who made a change?
On the Actions tab, set Source to Customer, Merchant, Automation or Shopify. For one subscription, open it and read its Logs.
