Shipping and delivery
Set what subscribers pay for shipping on recurring orders, where those orders ship from, and how to change a single subscription's address or rate.

Shipping on a recurring order is set in two places: the plan sets the shipping rules every subscription on it starts with, and each subscription can have its own address and shipping price. Taxes are calculated by Shopify when it creates each order.
Set shipping for a plan
Open the plan
Go to Subscriptions → Catalog → Subscription Plans and open a plan, or choose Create plan.
Pick a delivery profile
In Delivery profile, choose a profile under Use an existing profile. Recurring orders for this plan ship with that profile's zones and rates, which you manage in Shopify under Settings → Shipping and delivery.
Or create a simple one
Choose Create new profile. Enter a Profile name, pick where it Ships from, and add each Shipping zone with a Zone name and Countries. For each zone, choose Free shipping or Flat rate and enter the Flat rate amount, charged on every recurring order in that zone. Rest of World covers every country you don't list separately.
Save the plan
Save. Chargezen connects the profile to the plan in Shopify.
Change shipping for one subscription
Open the contract in Subscriptions → Manage → Contracts and choose Edit under Delivery details. Changes apply to future recurring orders. Orders already created keep their original details.
- Delivery address: start from a saved customer address or type a new one. This only changes this subscription, not the customer's default address or other subscriptions.
- Shipping pricing: Fixed amount: the Recurring shipping charge you enter is charged on every order. It doesn't ask for a new carrier rate.
- Shipping pricing: Dynamic: rates are calculated before each payment. If a rate isn't available, the Saved shipping price is used. Orders that already had a payment attempt keep their shipping price on retries. Dynamic rates aren't available for prepaid renewals.
Choose Save delivery details. The shipping method itself isn't changed here, only the price and how it's worked out.
Shipments on prepaid orders
For a paid order with several shipments, open Recent orders on the contract and choose Show details. Each shipment has Reschedule (pick a new shipment date and time) and Release early, which tells Shopify the shipment is ready for fulfillment. It doesn't mark it as shipped.
Show a ship day
In Subscription settings → Billing, Ship day sets the weekday orders ship, shown as the first ship day on or after the charge. It doesn't change when orders are released for fulfillment.
Shipping on imported subscriptions
- Single contract and CSV import: the Shipping fee is charged on every recurring order. Leave it blank for free shipping.
- Recharge sync: Inherit from Recharge, or Set one shipping price for every contract. See Migrate from Recharge.
Create a profile with Free shipping in each zone and attach it to your subscription plans. It's one of the simplest reasons to subscribe.
Troubleshooting
The plan says the profile has no shipping zones
Add zones to that profile in Shopify under Settings → Shipping and delivery, or create a new profile from the plan.
The plan saved but the delivery profile didn't connect
Open the saved plan from Subscription Plans and save it again to finish connecting its delivery profile.
I can't choose Dynamic
Dynamic rates aren't available for prepaid renewals. Use a fixed amount for prepaid subscriptions.
