Subscription reports

The ten subscription reports in Chargezen, what each one lists, how to filter them by date and how to get any report as a CSV by email.

Last updated: 2026-10-18

Reports are tables you can read on screen or download, one row per customer, contract, order or charge. Use them when you need the actual records behind a chart: who is due to renew next week, which charges failed, or how many units to have in stock. Open Subscriptions → Analytics → Reports.

Run a report

1

Find the report

Scroll the groups (Customers & subscriptions, Orders & charges, Forecasting, Activity) or type in Search reports.

2

Pick the view and dates

Reports marked By date or Upcoming dates show a date picker, set to 30 days to start. Reports marked Current show today's records. Many reports have views, such as Active or Cancelled.

3

Read or export

Rows load 50 at a time. Choose Export CSV, check the Email address (your store email is filled in) and choose Export. The CSV is emailed to that address.

Plan stock with the inventory forecast

The Inventory forecast and Upcoming subscription orders reports only count each subscription's next charge in the dates you pick. Later repeat charges are not projected, so run them for a window shorter than your shortest delivery interval.

Troubleshooting

The report says no rows match

The dates may not cover any activity. Widen the date range or switch the view to All. While Chargezen is still building a new workspace's subscription history, a banner says so and some figures appear once it finishes.

The export email hasn't arrived

Large exports are built in the background. Check the address you entered in the export dialog and your spam folder, then export again if it still hasn't arrived.

A skipped order is missing from the skipped orders report

The report lists skips made through Chargezen. Skips made directly in the Shopify admin are not included.
