Meta Partnership Ads

Run your creators’ Instagram and Facebook posts as Meta Partnership Ads with Spark!: the campaign, rights, brief and approval, then the ad in your account.

Last updated: 2026-10-19

A Meta Partnership Ad runs as a post from both the creator and your brand on Instagram or Facebook. The creator’s name sits in the ad header next to yours, so it reads like a recommendation from someone the viewer follows, while you control the targeting and budget. Spark! runs your Partnership Ads program next to TikTok Spark Ads: the same creators, campaigns, contracts and approvals for both.

The ads run in your Meta ad account and Meta bills you for the spend. Spark! is $199 a month or $1,990 a year, with no fee on ad spend.

Set up the campaign in Spark!

1

Create a Paid Amplification campaign

In Spark! → LaunchPad → Campaigns → Create Campaign, pick the Paid Amplification + Whitelisting type. Under Required Deliverables, add Spark/Partnership Ad Creative and set Target Platforms to Instagram. See Campaigns overview.

2

Get the rights in writing

Send a contract with the Meta/TikTok Ads + Whitelisting template. Set the Content Usage Rights to cover how long you’ll run the ads, and add exclusivity if you need it. The creator signs in their Spark! portal. See Creator contracts.

3

Brief the creator

Write a brief with the hook, key messages, required hashtags and mentions, and a note that the post will run as a Partnership Ad. See Briefs and submissions.

4

Approve the post

The creator submits the Instagram post or Reel in their portal. Review it in LaunchPad → Submissions and approve it, or ask for a revision before it goes live.

The creator gives your brand ad permission

Meta only lets you run a creator’s post as a Partnership Ad with their permission. The creator grants it to your brand’s account from their Instagram or Facebook settings, or shares a partnership ad code for a specific post with you. Message them from LaunchPad → Messages to agree on which posts and for how long, so it matches the contract.

Launch and measure

  • The ad is created in your Meta ad account using the creator’s approved post, with your targeting, budget and landing page.
  • Use the creator’s Spark! tracking link or discount code as the destination, so sales from the ad are credited to the creator and campaign in Spark!.
  • Compare creators: run the same offer through several creators’ posts and keep budget on the ones that sell.
Paying creators for ads

A whitelisting fee is a campaign fee. Record it against the campaign and contract in Campaign payments. Commission on sales from the creator’s link is paid through payouts as usual.

When permission ends

When the usage period in the contract ends, stop the ads and ask the creator to remove your brand’s ad permission, or sign a new contract to extend it.
