Gift orders

Send products to creators from a Spark! campaign: create gift orders, collect shipping addresses, add tracking and mark the content you get back.

Last updated: 2026-10-19

A gift order is one shipment of free product to one creator, usually in return for a post. It tracks the whole trip: address, tracking number, delivery and the content you expect back by a due date. Gift orders live in Spark! → LaunchPad → Product Seeding.

Send a gift

1

Start a gift order

In Product Seeding, choose Send Gift. To plan a whole seeding round first, choose Create seed campaign; it opens the campaign builder with the Product Seeding type.

2

Pick the campaign and creator

Choose the campaign, or No campaign (standalone gift) for a one-off, and enter the creator.

3

Add products

Add each product by name, SKU and quantity.

4

Say what you expect back

Describe the content you expect, set a content due date and add internal notes your team will see.

Shipping addresses

The creator sees the gift under Gifts in their Spark! portal. If you don’t have their address, it shows “This gift is waiting for your shipping address.” When they save an address (street, apartment, city, state or region, postal code, country and phone), Spark! fills it in on every gift order of theirs that hasn’t shipped yet.

A gift can’t ship until the address has a street, city, state, postal code and country.

Ship and track

1

Ship Product

On a pending gift, choose Ship Product and enter the tracking number, carrier and estimated delivery date. The gift moves to In Transit, and the creator sees the tracking in their portal.

2

Mark Delivered

Choose Mark Delivered when it arrives. The creator can also confirm delivery from their portal. Only shipped gifts can be marked delivered.

3

Mark Content Received

When the creator posts, choose Mark Content Received. Review the post itself in Submissions.

Sending to a lot of creators at once? Gift orders can be created and shipped in bulk, and a gift that can’t ship (no address, or not pending) is listed with the reason while the rest go through.

Gift order statuses

StatusWhat it means
Pending ShipmentCreated, not shipped yet. If the creator hasn’t given an address, it waits for one.
In TransitYou shipped it and added tracking.
DeliveredYou or the creator marked it delivered.
Content ReceivedThe creator posted what you asked for.
CancelledYou cancelled it. The creator no longer sees it.

The page counts your gifts by stage (pending, in transit, delivered, content received). Search by creator or campaign, filter by status, or choose View Details to see the products, address, tracking, expected content, due date and notes.

Follow up on late content

A delivered gift past its content due date without content received is overdue. Message the creator from LaunchPad → Messages before you send them anything else.
