Getting Paid

For creators: how a credited order becomes money in your account, where to track every payout, and what refunds do to your earnings.

Last updated: 2026-10-19

Every brand you work with on Spark! pays you directly, on its own schedule. Your creator portal at affiliates.chargezen.com shows what you've earned, what's been approved and what's been paid, so you never have to ask "did you send it?"

From sale to payment

1

A sale is credited

A shopper taps your link and orders. The order appears under Earnings > Orders as Pending.

2

The brand approves it

When the brand creates your next payout, your pending orders are gathered into it and show as Approved.

3

The brand pays you

The brand sends the money with the payout method you chose, then marks the payout paid. It shows as Paid under Earnings > Payouts, with the brand's payment reference.

Add a payout method first

Brands pay you with the method you set for them. Add one under Settings > Payout methodsbefore your first payout. See Payout methods.

Reading your earnings

At the top of Earnings, four totals:

  • Pending: waiting for the brand to approve, including orders in dispute.
  • Approved: in a payout, paid next. If the brand has a schedule, you'll see the next payout date.
  • Paid: already sent to you.
  • Lifetime: everything you've earned with this brand, except rejected orders.

Earnings > Payouts lists each payment: Amount, Status, Created, Paid or scheduled, Orders from, Method and Reference. The reference is the brand's payment ID, which helps if you need to ask about a payment. Flat fees for campaign work are under Earnings > Campaign fees.

When you get paid

Each brand sets its own payout schedule (weekly, every two weeks, monthly or quarterly) and a minimum payout amount. The brand pays from a balance it funds ahead of time, so approved earnings are backed by money set aside for creators.

When an order is refunded

If a shopper gets a refund, your commission on that order goes down by the refunded share, or to zero for a full refund. If you were already paid for it, the difference is taken off your next payout instead of being billed to you. Under Earnings you'll see Refunded orders, Commission given back and, when it applies, Owed from refunds.

FAQ

Does Spark! take a cut of my commission?

No. Brands pay a flat price for Spark!, and nothing comes out of your earnings.

My payout is late. Who do I ask?

The brand, because the brand sends the money. Use Messages in the portal, and include the payout's date and amount.

I work with several brands. Are payouts combined?

No. Each brand pays its own commission, so you'll see a payout from each.
